After a 20 year career in financial services as a stay at home mom, the study of yoga became fascinating. With a daily practice, I completed a certification to teach in 2002 and began offering yoga classes in Staten Island, NY for adults and girl scouts. In 2007 a colleague and I created a Yoga Alliance school, “Professional Teachers’ School of Yoga” designed to qualify NYCDOE Physical Education teachers to teach yoga in their schools.
